My trip to the Paradise of the Pacific has me savouring fresh mango, pineapple and agave, ingredients that go into many of my cocktails. I have created a tropical Negroni, a hot Mai Tai, a spicy mango Margarita and a uniquely exotic signature cocktail, each one a tribute to this lush, tropical land steeped on culture and folklore.
The tropical Negroni recipe alone made this set worth it—I've already mixed one up twice since the postcards arrived. The fresh mango and agave notes come through exactly like the trip description promised.
The mango and pineapple notes really shine through in these cards, and the hot Mai Tai suggestion actually worked surprisingly well with my usual rum. I’ve already sent three to friends who keep asking where the recipes came from.
The tropical Negroni recipe alone was worth the purchase—I've already made it twice for friends and they couldn't stop asking about the mango kick. The cards themselves have a nice weight to them too, sturdy enough to actually send through the mail.
